In Mountain View, CA, a motor officer pulled over a Google self-driving car for going too slowly: 24 in a 35. CA law requires that there be a “driver” in the driverless car, or should we call him an “attendant?” The officer did not issue a citation. Google responded rather snidely, saying that real drivers don’t get stopped for going too slowly. And while they are correct that it rarely happens, I wouldn’t mind seeing it happen more often.

Oh my god! If I could slap Google right now it would be the Bit** slap heard around the world.
“ Nobody else gets pulled over for it ”
Is this company run by 12 year olds?

Here in Georgia its far more likely to get you ticketed than speeding 5 or 10 over would. Not sure why Google would respond that way, ses as though they don’t like it if someone finds a flaw with a product that is in development...

Google is starting to get too arrogant for their own good. Or ours.

What Google is really saying; “well we didn’t say it was actually going to be efficient or work better than a human”

Interesting that the car knew it was getting pulled over. Google doesn’t miss much.
